The world of grammar is huge, but fiction writers don’t need to know all the nuances to write well. In fact, some of the rules you were taught in English class will actually hurt your fiction writing, not help it. Grammar for Fiction Writers won’t teach you things you don’t need to know. It’s all about the grammar that’s relevant to you as you write your novels and short stories.
Because Being Normal Lacks Imagination
I blog three days a week. On Mondays I draw lessons from science fiction, fantasy, and myth. Wednesdays are dedicated to writing. Fridays we go behind the scenes on books and movies and explore unbelievable, yet real, places and creatures. Check out my previous posts.
I teach online craft and social media classes for writers through WANA International. WANA International classes are unique in that they don’t just teach you technology or theory. They help you build relationships with other writers so that We Are Not Alone. For more information, check out my classes page.
I offer developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading for novels, short stories, and non-fiction books. Don’t know what type of edit your book or story needs? Part of my job is to make the editing process easier for you. I explain each type, so click through to my editing page to get started.
