The Hunger Games Movie
This week, Lionsgate released the first full Hunger Games movie trailer. As a huge fan, I’m already counting down to the March 23, 2012, release date, and saving up my credit card rewards points so that my husband and I can see it in theaters. In case you missed it (or are like me and want to watch it multiple times), here’s the trailer . . .
You can also become an official Hunger Games groupie by checking out the following sites:
The Hunger Games Facebook Page – Meet the tributes and keep up on the latest updates.
The Hunger Games Movie Site – Want a counter widget (don’t think I didn’t consider it), sneak peaks, and photos, then this is the place to be.
The Hunger Games Official Website – Find out more about Suzanne Collins, play games, or vote for whether you’ll be supporting Katniss or Peeta.

I am also a huge Hunger Games groupie and will be waiting with breathless anticipation for the movie. We have cheap night in our town so I will probably go on a Tuesday night. BTW, I failed to say that I’m loving your new set up. I figure your blog course was really good? I also hope that your time at the Writer’s Digest conference is excellent!!! 🙂

Thanks 🙂 The blogging course was excellent. It really opened my eyes to what I need to do to make this sustainable, and has reignited the fun I felt when I first started blogging. If you want to look at the course, I think Kristen Lamb is offering it again starting in January. Considering it’s only $40 for two months, it’s quite affordable.

Sounds like one worth seeing! Do you recommend reading the book first??

I’m the kind of person who likes to read the book before I see the movie because it helps for knowing what’s happening, but I know a lot of people who prefer to see the movie first since general wisdom is “the book is always better.”

I would definitely read the book first. My students are crazy for it. I’m teaching it right now for the first time, and I have never seen teenagers so eager to read. 99% of the time the book is better, and I’m pretty sure this will be no different.
